I am currently a senior at Duke University majoring in Evolutionary Anthropology with a minor in anatomy and chemistry (premed)! I was a student athlete, a member of the women’s volleyball team, up until last year due to an injury that caused me to retire but Duke has made that ...transition so smooth for me! Duke athletics in itself is a wonderful program with many talented people, but outside of athletics there is so much more! There are programs that are associated with your major/path. I am a member of the Duke CAPE program which is ~50 female student athletes wanting to pursue a career in the medical field. When deciding on colleges and career paths, people are faced with really hard decisions, but the choice to apply to Duke is one of the easiest decisions I have ever made.
