Hey everyone! I am currently a freshman at San Francisco State University. I am currently majoring in Psychology after applying undecided to the university during the admission process. During high school I was unsure if college was even the right fit for me but I had a lot of g...reat motivators and people who helped me ultimately decide to pursue higher education. I am a first generation college student in my family and am the first child to attend college after my grandparents. It is definitely a little different living on your own away from home but don’t let that stop you from pursuing your goals! Being at SFSU I have found that the faculty is absolutely amazing and very helpful with whatever you may need. They really make sure and check in often whether it’s the admissions office or if you’re in one of their programs here such as Metro or even your academic councilor. There are many fun events that are held on campus that helps students stay engaged with one another and allow you the space to relax and just have fun.
