Hello! I am a freshman at Portland State University. ​​​​​​​I am an International student and came here from Cracow, Poland in September 2021 and since then I have been trying to find myself here. What made me travel half of the globe was mostly for running. I am a student-athle...te and I am in the PSU cross country and track & field team – my main events are 800m and 1500m. I couple sport with the education and both of them are important for me. My major in fall term was Public Health: Pre-Clinical Sciences, however, after starting to understand how the education system works here and becoming more conscious about who I am, I decided to change it. Now I am studying Biology with the pre-track in Physical Therapy. I also thinking about minoring in Psychology. PSU is nothing like I have imagined, but it surprises me in a good way. I think that what makes it different is the way how the campus is built into the downtown, so it is not separate which makes this place unique. All the faculty members make sure that everybody is constantly supported and belongs here.
