Hi! My name is Bri Ellis, and I am from Houston, Texas. I am a freshman at Auburn University in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I’m also on the softball team, which surprisingly takes up more time than my major. My position in first ba...se, but I’m known for my hitting. Unfortunately, it took me almost my whole first semester to adjust to my hectic schedule, so I didn’t get a chance to sign up for any clubs. With that being said, I did do a lot of extra-curricular activities with my team other than softball, including philanthropy, competitions, and dinners. My favorite place in Auburn is the RBD library because of its beautiful architecture and interior design (I also spend a lot of my time in there). I still have yet to roll Toomer’s Corner, so hopefully next year I get the chance to participate in such an important Auburn tradition. College can be an incredibly tough, lonely, and scary place, especially when you don’t know what to expect. I’m here to help give you my many tips and tricks to get through that first semester. I know what it’s like to have absolutely no idea what you are doing, what you plan to do about it, or who to even talk to about it. I found ways to stay strong through my first semester at Auburn, and I would love to share it with you future college students, student-athletes, or even alumni.
