I am a senior seeking a dual-degree in Biology and Japanese, on the pre-veterinary track. As an out-of-state student, I have traversed the challenges of not knowing anyone when starting college. Having been apart of various student organizations including a tap dance team, taken... on leadership roles, volunteered off-campus at a local animal shelter, and engaged in cancer research, I can speak to many aspects of involvement through the University of Florida.  I have also lived on campus, studied abroad twice, and attended professional development conferences.
