Texas A&M University

As a first generation college student and Black woman, I have navigated countless challenging situations during my time as a student-athlete. Topics such as selecting a university, transferring as a graduate student, involvement in clubs, adjusting to campus culture, attending a... PWI, having a part time job, and more are all within my scope. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s in Public Service and Administration at Texas A&M’s Bush School of Government. As a graduate transfer, I have been through the recruiting and transfer process. At A&M, I have participated in on-campus clubs such as TAMU Graduate Consulting and B.L.U.E print. For undergrad I studied Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley. At Berkeley, I was heavily involved in on-and-off campus activities. I was a Resident Assistant, had a part time job, was an active member of Habitat for Humanity, HUBBA (Haas Undergraduate Black Business Association), BSAC (Black Student Athlete Committee), and MLT (Management Leadership for Tomorrow).
