Hi there! I’m Isla, a senior undergraduate student, majoring in economics at Princeton University. I have enjoyed my time at Princeton because it has offered me valuable experiences and opportunities for growth. I’m offering my perspective as an undergraduate student at Princeto...n University, having spent nearly four years on campus, including but not limited to: academic majors, certificates, classes, dorms, student life on campus, Nassau Street, eating clubs, school sponsored clubs, athletics, recreation, and much more. In addition to economics courses, I have also taken courses in engineering prerequisites (i.e., math, chemistry, physics, etc.), American studies, sociology, psychology, international affairs, classics, history, music, and English. Along the way, I have held leadership positions in Tiger Investments, an investing club, focused on financial education and investment research; founded and co-lead the Study Group Matching Program as part of The McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning; joined Cannon Dial Elm eating club; and was a part of the Division 1 Varsity Field Hockey Team. Princeton has also prepared me well for internships throughout the summer. Last summer, I interned with an investment bank in New York City, and received and accepted an offer to return full-time upon graduation in May 2023.
