Taking her talents to play for the Abilene Christian University Wildcats in the newly added WAC Conference, Laurèn Schiek is a talented softball player from Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Prior to her decision to transfer as a graduate student, Laurèn played for the Santa Clara University ...Broncos in the West Coast Conference. At Abilene Christian, she will be getting her Master's in Business Analytics, as she is also a freelance web developer and marketing strategist. At Santa Clara, Laurén recorded the lowest team ERA and most appearances for the Broncos her last full season there. Off the field, Laurén was an NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete. She was Santa Clara University's representative for the WCC, along with being a leader for the FCA, where she was named FCA Female Athlete of the year.
