Hi everyone! My name is Maddie and I'm a junior studying Child Development and Special Education at Vanderbilt. Originally from a small town about twenty minutes outside of Boston, I never saw myself going to school in the south. Thankfully I took a leap of faith and came to Nas...hville, where Vanderbilt has given me everything I could've asked for in a college experience. The opportunities that Vanderbilt's school of education, Peabody College, offers to students looking to enter the fields of psychology, teaching, and childcare are unmatched. Most significantly, I've been able to work as a Research Assistant at Vanderbilt's Early Development Lab. The numerous chances to get involved in research on campus supplement students' academic experiences tremendously.
