Hello! I’m Mariela and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). I'm a Level 1 Nursing Student. When I started at UNLV, a lot of things were transitioning from online to in person so I got to experience a lot of hybrid activities/courses. Now, a... lot of things are in person but, there are still plenty of events, clubs, courses, etc that are online or hybrid which is amazing. I have taken a mixture of fully online, hybrid, and in person courses. Besides school work, I am involved with UNLVolunteers which is an organization on campus that provides different volunteer opportunities to students. I also work as a Peer Mentor for the Division of Health Sciences. I help students in their first year seminar courses navigate campus resources and help them get involved on campus.
