I have recently finished my first year as an undergraduate pre-biology student at UC Santa Barbara, hoping to pursue a career in biostatistics afterwards. Even though this was not my first choice school, I ended up really liking what the campus has to offer, such as wonderful pr...ofessors, peers, and research opportunities. I have not been very involved on campus in clubs and activities this year, but I believe I have enough experience to help you find your passion for a certain major, give advice on how to stay organized and plan ahead in terms of academics, and start everlasting friendships. I can also answer any general questions about the College of Letters and Science, dorm and housing life, and social life. The first year is always quite tough because the new environment, work strategies, and people required me to make several adjustments, and to this day, I am still not fully adjusted, so patience is key.
