Something I learned about in my favorite class I’ve taken at Chapman so far (emotional intelligence), was the Limbic system. This system is is a set of structures in the brain that deal with emotions and memory, it’s what gives you “that feeling” or “vibe” you get when you enter... a space that you feel connected to. Although you might be unable to feel that vibe on Chapman’s campus, I want to share it with you through this platform. My name is Olivia and I am a rising senior studying business, communication and leadership. Being involved in my community is something that’s always been of utmost importance to me. I love being involved through Kappa Kappa Gamma (my sorority), spending time on campus, connecting with professors and my newfound mentors. Feeling connected is motivating, but more importantly it’s something that’s available to you here at Chapman. The best is yet to come, and let’s talk about it! Show more
