I am a sophomore at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College with a concentration in Finance. Coming from a small, all-girls school in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I knew I wanted a larger school but also knew that I did not want my schedule to consist of numerous larg...e lectures where I’d probably be forgotten. Boston College was therefore the perfect choice! With a student body size of ~9,500, I found that BC has all of the perks I was looking for in a big school (D1 athletics, large campus, extensive alumni network, wide range of classes and clubs, etc) while still having many of the perks that come with smaller schools (small class sizes, strong advising system, opportunities to get to know my professors well, etc). Since being at BC, I’ve taken advantage of these perks and attended numerous game days, created strong relationships with my professors, advisors and friends, joined two clubs (charity:water and investment club), and so much more!
