Hello ! My name is Samahir Salman, and I am a sophomore at Christian Brothers University. I spent my freshman year at University of Miami, and transferred this semester. My major is in biology, with a minor in psychology on the pre-medical track. I hope to uphold a future occupa...tion as a trauma surgeon. I mainly got involved in this field during my high-school years , joining clubs such as medical honors society , and getting certifications in EMR, EKG, Pharmacy, BLS, etc. It is cliché to say that I am upholding this occupation to help people, but truly that is the main reason. However not simply to help just any people, but assist those who aren’t able to afford the healthcare that they need.
