I am a third-year student at Colgate University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in French. My time at Colgate has been amazing so far, as I’ve been able to find my passions through a variety of different outlets, from hiking trips to theater performances to studying abroad ...in France. Beyond Colgate, I’ve spent my summers doing internships in research and non-profit work, which were great opportunities I got through networking and resources from Colgate. At the same time, I remember how stressful the college process was for me—I spent so much time researching schools based on my interests, location, prestige…everything I possibly could to ensure I found the best fit. Looking back, there were so many moments where I wished I could have talked to someone who knew about the school I liked and could answer more personal questions, beyond just the school statistics.
