The very skilled and intelligent Skylar Smith, from Coto de Caza, California, has had an incredible impact on every soccer team she has been apart of. Playing at the middle fielder position for the Santa Clara University Broncos, Skylar and her team dominated this past 2020 seas...on helping them bring home their second Women’s National Championship by defeating No. 1 ranked Florida State University. Not only did they win a National Championship in 2020, but Skylar has been remarkable this season appearing in 11 matches, starting in two and finished third on the team with four goals scored. A handful of her 2020 achievements include: scoring three goals in the NCAA Tournament, one assist on the game-winner at No. 13 BYU, scoring in the second round of the NCAA Tournament vs. Ohio State, scoring vs. No. 7 Arkansas in the third round of the NCAA Tournament, and scoring in the College Cup semifinals vs. North Carolina. As the new season is approaching for Skylar, they plan to defend that title and bring home another championship for Santa Clara University. Show more
