I am a rising Vanderbilt junior majoring in Economics and minoring in French. Though I began my time at Vanderbilt in the midst of the pandemic, the loosening restrictions have allowed me to experience the university — and the city of Nashville — at its full potential. Nashville... is rustling with young people going to concerts, live music, sporting events, and way more. Since my career interests lie in the music industry, this was one of the most appealing things about this university. At Vanderbilt, I am involved in Greek Life, a professional network for women called The Women’s Network, and Women in Business. In my junior year, I am excited to study abroad in Europe through the vast options and programs the university is part of. I remember being extremely anxious about choosing the right college, strategizing how to apply early as opposed to regular, and keeping up with my school work and extracurricular activities simultaneously.
