I am a junior at Stanford University majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in bio-computation and a minor in Spanish. Up until my junior year, I was on the pre-med track and hence am very knowledgeable about the track’s available resources: the classes, labs, extracu...rriculars, advisors, and the application timeline. I’ve also spent a majority of my time here doing research, particularly in biochemistry and bio-computation. I remember that this was a huge decision factor between colleges for me, and Stanford has not disappointed me. I also remember too how intimidating it felt to reach out to professors about these opportunities, network with alumni, and understand how I could find clubs and activities I was passionate about. If you have questions about volunteering at Stanford, I’d also be happy to answer those as I’m a member of a club that teaches weekly health lessons to local middle schoolers throughout the year which has been a nice means to connect with the broader community in the area. In my free time I enjoy playing IM volleyball, running, hiking, and exploring the Bay Area, and as of right now, I’m pursuing technical product management roles. I’ve met some of my best friends here at Stanford and ultimately feel as though I found the right campus for me.
