Loyola Marymount University – LMU

Hello! I am currently a sophomore Honors student at Loyola Marymount University in the College of Business Administration. My major is Entrepreneurship and I am minoring in Women’s and Gender Studies. I am originally from a small island in the Caribbean called Anguilla so I know... how challenging things can be for international students seeking an education in the U.S. However, LMU has done a fantastic job at making me feel welcomed and giving me opportunities to be engaged with the community. With a passion for queer advocacy and uplifting queer people at the university and in the LA community, I became the Vice President of Black Queer Space and Social Justice chair for Somewhere Under the Rainbow. I am also the Student Manager at the Black Student Space as I believe in promoting black excellence on campus. Being a Resident Advisor on campus has also given me much knowledge about housing at LMU and topics relating to campus life. I know choosing a school can be really stressful, and in-depth answers to questions regarding university life can be difficult to find, so feel free to ask me any questions that you have! *Please note that I am not a representative of Loyola Marymount University and I am acting under my own behalf for these interactions.
