Hi! I am a current first year student at UC Santa Cruz. I am a proud Porter affiliate and a Film and Digital Media major. In my first quarter on campus, I was able to involve myself in multiple student media organizations that brought together students with passions similar to m...y own. Participating in these organizations have helped me to grow as a filmmaker and have been so much fun! I was also able to take on a job at the Film and Digital Media Equipment Department on campus. Between my classes, extracurriculars, and on campus employment, I have been able to meet many like-minded students and good friends. I also have been able to get to know students through events around campus, such as theater performances and open mic nights. When I was trying to choose a university, I had many niche questions that were very important to me, but difficult to research. Now, I am very grateful to have an opportunity to help students today by providing my knowledge and insight about experiences! Show more
