I am a third year Chemical Engineering major at UCLA. As a Latina in STEM, I understand that being a minority in your field can be difficult so finding a university that aligns with who you are is very important. I’m here to help you get a full 360 view of the experience of a UC...LA student, from dorm life to on and off campus activities, and everything in between. During my time at UCLA, I have been involved in many different roles such as a undergraduate student researcher for our Chemical Engineering department, a student leader for the University Catholic Center and a member of the innovation team for the High Tech and Neurological Disorders organization. I am also currently a part of the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program.
