Hi everyone! My name is Amanda and I am an upcoming sophomore at chapman university. I am studying communications with a double minor in psychology and disability studies. I know that starting a new school especially away from home can be very intimidating. I would love to make ...your transition into college as smooth as it can be. I would be more than happy to tell you about my first year experience, the on campus clubs and opportunities, the surrounding area of chapman, the dorms or any other questions or concerns that you might have. I originally chose chapman because of the sense of community that I felt when I logged on to the first zoom because I applied and toured fully online. I think that the sense of community especially the supportive aspect continues to be one of my favorite aspects of chapman. I am so grateful for all of the opportunities that chapman has given me so far and has in store for me in the future. I am excited to join the admission team next year and attend a semester at sea possible in spring of 2024. So far I have only dipped my toes in the possible opportunities on campus, including a few clubs and two leadership opportunities. I am so impressed with the overall chapman experience, with the dedicated professors, holistic education and career preparation, social life and prime location of chapman itself, and happy with my choice of continuing my higher education here at Chapman.
