Hello! I’m Chardonnay Needler, and I major in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) with minors in International Development, French, and Chinese at the University of Pennsylvania. College — from applying to schools, deciding which to attend, and navigating freshman year, to se...arching for fellowships, research assistant roles, and jobs — is a whirlwind. But it’s fun. I hope to provide you with the knowledge you need to make an informed decision and get the most out of your time at Penn. I’m involved in a lot here at Penn: I’m a Fellow in the TESG Fellows Program focusing on clean energy solutions, the editor-in-chief of the translation literary magazine, a cellist in the chamber group, an alto in PennYo a Cappella, and a member of the Penn Policy Consulting Group. I’ve also engaged in and published research in two departments, done Penn-specific abroad programs (including a most recent trip to Thailand!), and recruited for and accepted an post-grad offer in consulting.
