I am a second year at the University of Chicago, studying Biology with a specialization in Developmental Biology and Psychology. I am a first-generation college student, and have spent my time getting immersed into the full college experience. So far, I have held numerous intern...ships, worked directly in research studies, joined multiple clubs, volunteered at nonprofits, and directly mentored other first-generation college students. I’m here to offer insight and guidance on everything from college application essays and financial aid, to moving on to campus and registering for your first classes. Currently, I am working on research in a statistical genetics lab and in the addiction sciences center in a psychology lab, but outside of class and research, I spend my time cooking, going to the gym, and writing poetry.
