Hi! My name is Kalani Hardyway, and I am a soon-to-be junior at the University of Idaho. I am double majoring in Recreation/Sports Management and Psychology. I am originally from Oceanside, California, but committing to being a part of the university’s track and field program is... what brought me here. When I visited, I automatically fell in love with the beautiful campus and small college town vibes! I definitely never expected to be going to college through a pandemic, but I am grateful that U of I has done its best to give us students as normal of a college experience as possible. I also appreciate how much the university works with us students to ensure we have all the necessary tools to succeed in not just college but in the real world too. Despite Covid-19, I have still been able to join clubs and meet new people. Choosing a school can be stressful, and the pandemic probably does not make things easier, but I promise it is something to be excited about!
