My name is Kathryn, and I am a civil engineering student at Rice University. I have always loved math and science, and Rice was my first choice because of its top-tier engineering department and friendly, passionate student body. I would love to share my experiences with you, fr...om the amazing residential college system unique to Rice to my involvement in extracurriculars. During my time here, I have been extremely involved on campus as the president of the American Society of Civil Engineers chapter, a head Resident Health Advisor, and a captain for Rice’s annual tradition, beer bike. I have also had the opportunity to take part in on campus research as well as paid internships, and have received multiple offers of employment.
