Hi everyone! My name is Katie (she/her), and I recently graduated magna cum laude from Occidental College! I majored in Comparative Studies in Literature and Culture with an emphasis in German. I also minored in Education at Oxy and plan to pursue my master’s degree in Education.... I was a member of the Women’s Tennis Team and a team captain during my senior year. I loved being a student-athlete, and I think it really enhanced my college experience. I have been the Social Content Manager for Boundless Brilliance, an organization that provides multiple different resources to elementary students to empower young girls to know that they belong in STEM. Fall of my senior year, I studied abroad in Vienna, Austria, where I got to immerse myself in German and participate in a teaching internship, which perfectly complemented my major & minor.
