Hi! My name is Kennedy Berschel and I am currently a sophomore student-athlete at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  I am a mechanical engineering major in the Grainger College of Engineering as well as a player on my university’s Division I Women’s Soccer Team.  W...hen looking for a university to call home, I not only looked at each school from an academic perspective, but an athletic one as well.  My dual-perception of this university is a unique one and one that can easily be applied to your own if you are looking at clubs, greek life, or other activities organized outside the world of academics to join.  I would love to share why I love this university, why it is so adaptable for your own dual-mindset, and why I am happy to call it home, so please feel free to ask any questions! *Please note that I am not a representative of the University of Illinois, and I am doing all of this on my own merit.
