Linnea Swarting is a professional ballet dancer, dance teacher, writer, and model. Currently, she is a company member at Los Angeles Ballet. Previously, Linnea danced with Nashville Ballet and The Washington Ballet, after training at Boston Ballet School and the University of No...rth Carolina School of the Arts High School Program. Performance highlights include “The Nutcracker,” “Swan Lake,” “The Sleeping Beauty,” George Balanchine’s “Serenade” and “Western Symphony,” as well as competing at Varna International Ballet Competition in 2018, and performing in the “Summer Nights” Gala in Tallinn, Estonia. She writes for Pointe Magazine, and created The Ballet Writer Blog as a platform for her dance writing. Linnea has taught all ages and levels, led master classes, and co-founded "Adaptive Dance: New Perspectives," a dance class for students of all abilities at School of Nashville Ballet.
