Hi, I'm Mahika, a sophomore at UC Berkeley from Chicago, Illinois! I am a Bioengineering (College of Engineering) major with a double major in Data Science (College of Letters and Sciences). Being an out-of-state student flying four hours away to sunny California, I had no idea ...what Berkeley was going to be like. As soon as I visited campus on a rainy day (unusual spring weather), I fell in love with the beautiful buildings and green campus. I have been able to find my place academically and socially at Berkeley and am passionate about helping others to decide if Berkeley should be their future school. I am involved in Cal Chorale, a mixed choir group, Berkeley Bioprinting, a bioprinting project club, Cal BMES, the BioE honors society, and Entrepreneurs@Berkeley, a startup and consulting club on campus. Choosing a school and seeing if it fits is a hard decision, but I am here to answer any questions from choosing a dorm to academics. Show more
