Hi! I’m currently a first-year at Georgia Institute of Technology in the College of Sciences. Currently, I’m a Biology major but will be swapping to the new Environmental Science major once that’s offered at my school, and a self-proclaimed nature nerd. I’ve had a passion for na...tural science my entire life, specifically marine biology and mycology; Georgia Tech's offering of this new degree is perfect for any prospective natural scientist. I got the opportunity to visit campus four years ago and was amazed by how it felt like a forest inside a city. Georgia Tech has an incredible amount of tree cover, green spaces, and species diversity! I practiced Wado-Ryu and Shotokan Karate for over eleven years, before college, and am now participating in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. If you’re interested in a martial art Georgia Tech likely offers it. Music has also been a large part of my life since a young age. I’m on my third instrument right now and am a part of the Georgia Tech Musicians Network. I’ve been lucky enough to meet and play with many talented friends here allowing me to become a better musician myself. Lastly, I recently got a job at an institutional maker space. Georgia Tech has a very hands-on approach to learning, offering countless studios for students to pursue their creative and or technical passions. Finding what you want in a school can be difficult, but I genuinely believe Georgia Tech offers it all.
